Privacy Policy

How the Unum Solutions website handles your data. Last updated 24 October 2026.

The short version

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses cookieless, aggregate analytics; one interactive study guide saves your progress in your own browser and never sends it anywhere. Our apps each have their own privacy policy — see Our apps at the bottom. The rest of this page covers the website.

This website (unumsol.com)

Hosting and request logs

unumsol.com and our media host media.unumsol.com are served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare records standard request data (your IP address, browser user agent, the page or file requested, and the time) for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. We use these logs only to operate the site and to see, in aggregate, which pages and files are being requested.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. It is privacy-first: it does not set cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other websites. We see aggregate page views, referrers, countries, device types, and page-speed measurements — not individual profiles.

Contact form

The contact page embeds a Google Form. Anything you enter (typically your name, email address, and message) is submitted to Google and delivered to us so we can reply. Google's handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. If you would rather not use the form, email us at info@unumsol.com.

Podcast and media

Episode audio and video are hosted on Cloudflare R2 at media.unumsol.com, which logs requests as described above. Episode audio downloaded through our RSS feed passes through OP3, an open-source podcast measurement service, which records the request (a hashed IP address, user agent, and the episode requested) to produce aggregate, public download statistics; OP3 does not set cookies. If you listen through a podcast app or directory such as Apple Podcasts or Spotify, that service's own privacy policy also applies. Videos embedded from YouTube use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set tracking cookies until you play the video.

Study progress stored in your browser

Our interactive CDCP Mastery Console keeps your progress in your browser's local storage so it is still there when you come back — completed modules, final-exam attempts and scores, and your error log. That data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and is removed if you clear your browser's site data. No other page on this site stores anything in your browser.

Third-party resources some pages load

Some guide pages load the open-source Chart.js library from the jsDelivr CDN to draw charts. When your browser fetches that file, jsDelivr receives the standard request data (your IP address and browser user agent) under its own privacy policy. The request carries nothing else about you and sets no cookies. Fonts, scripts, and images are otherwise served from unumsol.com itself.

What we don't do

We do not run advertising, do not sell or share personal data, do not use third-party tracking pixels, and do not set cookies on unumsol.com.

Our apps

We publish apps for Apple devices, and each one has its own privacy policy describing exactly what it does and doesn't collect:

Children

Our website and apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes and contact

If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top. For how our apps handle data, see their individual policies linked above. Questions go to info@unumsol.com.
